I have heard from various people that Google will penalize you for posting duplicate content on multiple sites. What about spammers who scrape content from sites and reuse it on their own? Now that I have moved to posterous full-time I actually stopped it from posting to my blog so that it wouldn't dilute the SEO. In that process that means the other versions will suffer.
